It is official. Dr. Whittle has put me on major slow down mode. I have had to take a very early maternity leave beginning today. My blood pressure is giving me problems and I have also been diagnosed with gestational diabetes. The gestational diabetes is very easy to control, so he is concerned about the BP. It is running anywhere from 136/90-150/100. Hopefully,this will enable me to go to full term with the baby. He said if I didn't stay put now, we would be having a very early arrival.

Hey Kim! I know what you are going through. I had the same problem with Abby. My BP stayed up the last 7-6 weeks. She did come 11 days early, but he is right. The best thing I did was to stay in the bed all day. It will be a little hard with Emily Grace, but no doubt it is worth it. You and the baby are in my prayers!
